Itinerary

Day 1 - (- / L / D)

Enjoy the historic area within the modern city of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. See the Manila's iconic Rizal Park also known as Luneta Park, walk around in paved with cobbled rock, Intramuros “The Walled City” where you can see the Fort Santiago - once served as the headquarters of the Spanish forces but now known as the “Shrine of Freedom”. A museum with memorabilia and antique furniture honors the country's national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, Manila Catheral - The Cathedral is the Philippines' main Catholic church. The first Cathedral was built in 1581. This church has been the venue for wedding and attending mass for famous and wealthy people, Casa Manila – a museum in Intramuros depicting colonial lifestyle during Spanish colonization of the Philippines and San Agustin Church - an Augustinian church, Claimed to be the oldest church in the country. Adjoining the church is the monastery-museum with collections of art and religious artifacts. Three important Spanish Conquistadors are buried in this church: Legaspi, Salcedo and Lavezares., visit Makati City, the country’s financial hub and American War Memorial Park - a cemetery where the remains of 17,200 allied forces during World War II rest below rows of white crosses.

Day 2 - (B / L / D)

Early check-out then leave hotel at 0200am to Banaue (12 hrs drive). stopping at San Jose for lunch. Then stop at one of the scenic lookout points along Dalton Pass followed by late afternoon arrival in Banaue. (Optional tour ) Yamashita surrender site, Kiangan Shrine and the Ifugao Museum.

Day 3 - (B / L / D)

Start the day with a 3 to 4 hours ride (one way) to picturesque Sagada with its ancient burial caves and mummified bodies at Sugong & Echo Valley. Under guidance of a local English speaking guide you will glimpse Lumiang Burial Cave which houses more than 100 coffins are stacked in the entrance. Then enter the impressive Sumaguing Cave, known for it’s rock formations and impressive chambers. Visit Bontoc’s tribal museum on the way back, with artifacts and unique pictures from the mountain tribes. Stop at the Viewpoint to admire the Terraces. Return to Banaue for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - (B / L / D)

0800hrs, leave hotel to Manila. In San Jose, stop for lunch arriving in Manila at approximately 18:30 pm, depending on weather and traffic conditions.

Day 5 - (B / - / - )

Free time. Transfer to airport
