Day 1. ISTANBUL ( -, -, -):
Arrival at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Meet at the aiport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2. ISTANBUL ( B, L, -):
In the morning proceed to "Old City" and visit Blue Mosque, with its graceful cascade of domes, its six slender minarets and its magnificent interior of beautiful blue Iznik tiles. Then visit Basilica Cistern and the Hagia Sophia, now called the Ayasofya Museum. Built by Constantine the Great, it was reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century and is unquestionably one of the finest buildings of all time. After lunch, we will visit the famous Topkapi Palace, which was home to the sultans between the 15th and 19th centuries. It is now a museum exhibiting imperial collections of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain and imperial costumes. Back to the hotel for overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3. ISTANBUL (B, L, -):
After breakfast, we will visit the aromatic Spice Bazaar, where the smells of cinnamon, cloves and thyme, rise from hundreds of colourful muslin bags at every store-front. Then "Culinary Backstreets Tour of the Old City" around Grand Bazaar.. Istanbul’s Bazaar Quarter is one of the world’s biggest open-air commercial centers and a historic center of small craftsmen who still carry on their tradition in the atmospheric caravanserais. On this 5-hour walk, we will eat with these craftsmen. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 4. ISTANBUL / CAPPADOCIA by flight (B, L, -):
After an early breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Kayseri by TK2026 (0850/1025). Transfer to the hotel. After lunch, visit Ozkonak Underground City carved into soft rocks resembling a huge labyrinth of tunnels, rooms, kitchens, wine cellars and passageways. Also time will be allocated for the local souvenir shopping. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5. CAPPADOCIA (B,L,-):
Early in the morning OPTIONAL Hot Air Balloon Tour. After breakfast full day tour through the many valleys and conical cliffs, with whole cities hewed from these rocks cliffs. Included is the Goreme Valley, Valley of the Birds and Uchisar Castle, where you can capture a panoramic view of the beautiful plateau. Then visit Avanos Village followed by the famous local pottery and carpet shows allowing ample time for shopping. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 6. CAPPADOCIA / ISTANBUL / IZMIR by flight (B,-,D):
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to Kayseri airport for domestic flight to Izmir via Istanbul by TK 2027 (1120/1300) & TK 2330 (1400/1510). Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Free time. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 7. EPHESUS TOUR (B,L,D):
After breakfast stop at leater outlet for see Leather Fashion Show and shopping time. Then we will visit the famous ancient city of Ephesus, one of the world’s finest archaeological sites. We will also stop by the House of Virgin Mary (on top of Mt Coressos). She was believed to have spent her last years in this area. Then visit Sirince Village, located on the top of a mountain and a perfect synthesis of Turk-Greek culture as of the 1920's, anyone will enjoy the impressive wine yards' and peach trees' views on his way. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 8. PAMUKKALE TOUR (B,L,D):
In the morning drive to Pamukkale. Visit the Antique City of Hierapolis where Calcareous hot springs descending over cliff shave created fascinating travertines in the form of white terrace and basins. Back to the hotel. Diner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 9. KUSADASI - IZMIR – ISTANBUL by flight (B):
After breakfast transfer to Izmir airport. Domectic flight to Istanbul then connection flight to home.
