Day 1: Apo Island (B/L/-)
8am - Arrive at the Dumaguete Airport and take a private van transfer to the apartment where you will drop off your bags. On the way, make a pit stop in a store to buy drinks, snacks, and etc. Head to boat pier.
10am – Take a private boat/bangka ride to Apo Island. Apo Island is a volcanic island covering 12 hectares in land area. Its shallow waters is home to giant sea turtles. Snorkel in its vibrant marine sanctuary filled with colorful coral and fish.
12nn – Enjoy lunch. After lunch, you will have free time to lounge, take siesta, continue to swim/snorkel.
3pm – Head back to Dumaguete. Freshen up. Dinner/ Free time.
Day 2: Dolphin Watching (B/L/-)
Enjoy your packed breakfast before departing for Bais City at 7am. Depending on low tide, you might depart early or later in the morning.
Bais is well known for its proximity to the protected marine sanctuary, the Tañon Strait where the dolphins frolic in the water, and if you are lucky, you will see whales emerge. It is fascinating to experience and watch these sea creatures up close.
Sun bathe and enjoy the Manjuyod sand bar, a pristine 7 kilometer stretch of white sand that emerges only during low tide. Here, you can find native wooden houses built on stilts. Packed lunch will be served on the boat. Enjoy your day basking under the sun. Slow down and relax.
Day 3: Twin Lakes (B/L/-)
This morning, take a van ride to the mountains of Dumaguete. Here you will find the peaceful Balisasayao twin lakes. The area is surrounded by lush tropical greens and vegetation.
The calm waters make it perfect for swimming, boating and kayaking or just sitting under a small hut to take in the view and the fresh mountain air.
After lunch, freshen up and get ready to leave for the airport 2 hours before your flight.
